Here are just some of the ways we're already giving back to the community:
Tree Donations to Local Non-Profit Organizations
This Christmas, The Living Christmas Company will celebrate its Grand Opening by donating approximately 50 Living Christmas trees to local non-profit organizations. We would like to invite you to participate in helping your organization reach its charitable goals.
We will donate up to two Living Trees to each selected non-profit organizations. The donation includes the full Living Christmas Tree service, comprising rental of two 4-6ft. living trees (valued at $110 each), delivery and pick up of our trees. The service may be used in any way that will best benefit your organization, such as donating it to a needy family who might otherwise be unable to have a tree, or using it as a raffle prize to enhance your fundraising efforts.
All you have to do is go to the Contact Us page and tell us about your organization and how it would benefit from the donation of this service. We will donate two Living Christmas Trees to each organization we select.
For further fundraising, we would be happy to offer additional trees at a considerable discount. Please let us know if you would like The Living Christmas Company to make a presentation of our Fundraising Partnership opportunities to your organization.
Fundraising Partnerships
Let The Living Christmas Company help your Non-Profit Organization reach its fundraising goals. When your members rent their Living Trees from us, we will donate a percentage of the total sales to your organization. Donate a Tree to a Needy Family
If you would like to donate a tree to a needy family this year, please place your order online. You may include a recipient of your own choosing in the delivery information or Contact Us and we will find a needy family to receive your tree. Unfortunately at this time, your donation is strictly a goodwill gesture and will not be tax-deductible.
Our Current Fundraising Partnerships
Torrance Memorial Hospital
The Living Christmas Company will donate Living Trees to the 25th Anniversary Torrance Memorial Hospital Holiday Festival. The trees will be decorated by professional designers and auctioned at the Festival Dinner on Friday, December 5th, 2008. Proceeds from this year's Festival will support the hospital's proposed new tower. For further information, visit www.TorranceMemorial.org.
Green Ambassadors
Green Ambassadors, a project of Environmental Charter High School, is an environmental education program that empowers youth to be agents of change in their communities and world. Through service learning, community partnerships, and cross-cultural and global exchange, the program fosters personal growth and leadership skills to help youth tackle the most critical environmental issues facing our planet.
