I,
, do formally request adoption of my Living Christmas Company Pine
Tree Pal, whom I have named
, formally tree code/ order #
.
In requesting adoption, I agree to provide a loving and joyful environment for my newfound
fir-ry friend.
I promise to water him/her upon arrival and keep him/her away from heaters and fireplaces throughout
the holidays. After the season, I promise to keep him/her in a sheltered area and
marked with brightly
colored ribbon and the adoption tag until he/she is whisked back to the North Pole for safe keeping
until next year.
I also understand that, while The Living Christmas Company elves do their best to ensure the health and
vitality of my tidy tannenbaum, there is no way to guarantee the success of my tree in the off season.
Natural disasters (e.g. wind storms, blizzards) or mechanical failures (e.g. power outages, LA Dodgers)
can adversely affect the condition of my tree.
By adopting my tree, I will have the right of first refusal for that tree. I understand that I will be
contacted by October 1st regarding the health and status of my tree and will have until November 1st to
secure my adopted tree or opt to have a new tree delivered. After November 1st, neither my adopted tree
OR the availability of a new tree can be guaranteed.
I agree to a yearly maintenance cost of $30.00 to offset the additional cost of labor, software, and
communication. This amount will be billed by February 1st, and is due by March 1st. At this time the
reserved trees are either set aside for adoption or combined with the rest of the forest.
As a thank you for participating in the adoption program, on October 1st I will be issued a
$30.00 rebate
to be used either towards the rental of my tree OR at the Eco-Holiday Store. Rebates expire at the end of
the calendar year in which they are issued.
I understand these terms and am excited about starting a new holiday tradition!
